Ravinder completed his master’s degree in Private Law: Commercial Legal Practice at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in July 2021. His interest in corporate law developed while he was pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Law at Utrecht University. To prepare himself for corporate law practice, he also delved into the disciplines of (business) economics and corporate law. He took elective courses such as economics & business economics, principles of microeconomics, and mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures to broaden his knowledge.
In February 2022, Ravinder began as a student intern at Fruytier Lawyers in Business, and he immediately took a liking to both the work environment and the work itself! This feeling was mutual, so Ravinder immediately continued in the role of paralegal. As a paralegal, he focused on corporate law practice and mergers and acquisitions.
After working as a paralegal for some time, Ravinder was admitted to the bar on August 30, 2023. His expertise will focus even more on several key pillars of corporate law: mergers and acquisitions, shareholder and board disputes, and corporate governance.
In his free time, Ravinder enjoys socializing. He also values staying active and can therefore often be found at the gym. In addition, he dances kizomba (a partner dance, similar to salsa or bachata).
