Mr. Mark H. Schmidt (born in 1968 in Amsterdam) studied Dutch Law at the University of Amsterdam, and graduated there in 1998 with a major in rental law.

After working several years as a corporate lawyer at a real estate association in Amsterdam, he began working as a lawyer at a well-established law firm in Zaandam starting early 2005.

During his period of practical training Mark primarily dealt with the common practice with the emphasis on contract law, rental law and family law. In those years Mark Schmidt worked in a lively litigation practice. After finishing his three-year period of practical training, Mark chose for the more commercial practice, and returned to Amsterdam.

Mark Schmidt joined Fruytier Lawyers in Business early 2008. He primarily deals with real estate and employment law. Family law is also a part of his interests.

Areas of legal expertise: real estate, rental, employment and contract law.
